Male Students ages 17 and 18 need to register for the Selective Service
This is a governmental agency that provides untrained manpower for the Armed forces if there is a a national emergency. Boys who are 18 years of age must sign up for this service, it is the law. If they do not they could be kept form getting financial aid and certain jobs.
